Fight for the Nation’s Future
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s message to the nation of Pakistan from Adiyala Jail:
My Pakistanis! I have sacrificed as much as possible for the country and the nation, and, Inshallah, I will keep fighting for your true freedom until my last breath. But this “Fight for the Nation’s Future” isn’t just Imran Khan’s; it belongs to the entire nation. If we don’t stand against this oppression today, future generations will not forgive us. The time has come to end the oppressive system with the power of the people. Today, I am making a final call for protest. On November 24, all of you must reach Islamabad.
Undeclared Martial Law and a Fake Democracy
Through the 26th Constitutional Amendment, an undeclared martial law has been imposed for the next 10 years. We are living under a fake parliament, a fake prime minister, a fake president, and a fake democracy. A dictatorship even more terrifying than General Musharraf’s is currently in power. The rule of law, democracy, freedom, and the future of the country have been destroyed.
Exposing the Mafia’s Rule
With the help of their facilitators, a mafia that has stolen the mandate has taken control of the country, imposing a fascist system under which the constitution, law, and judiciary are under continuous attack, and our innocent people are being thrown into prisons by a fake government. We have to show this mafia that the nation rejects all of this.
PTI’s Lead in the Fight for the Nation’s Future
The PTI leadership will lead the protest on November 24. I have given the party leaders a comprehensive protest plan and formed a committee with the authority to lead and conclude the protest. Whenever negotiations are necessary, our committee will conduct them with whomever is put forward by the handlers.
A Call to Every Pakistani
I instruct my party leadership to plan the protest thoroughly, inform the people in their constituencies about it, and prepare for a powerful yet peaceful demonstration.
Every Pakistani’s Role in the Fight for the Nation’s Future
This protest is a test not only for party leaders, assembly members, ticket holders, and local and provincial organizations but also for the common man from all walks of life. I urge every class, including our business community, civil society, legal fraternity, farmers, street vendors, and salaried class, to reach Islamabad. To my youth and students, whose future is especially at stake, I want to say that you must actively participate in this movement. My message to overseas Pakistanis is to join protests worldwide for the nation’s future and actively support party funding.
Together, We Will Succeed
I have complete faith in my nation, and I predict that on November 24, all of Pakistan will arrive in Islamabad, and a sea of people will sweep away every barrier and container. On that day, the entire nation, in one voice, will make the following demands:
– The annulment of the 26th Constitutional Amendment and the restoration of the Constitution to its original state
– Return of the stolen mandate
– Release of political prisoners held without trial
My Pakistanis, this time, we will not return until our demands are met! Let us all unite in this “Fight for the Nation’s Future” and stand for our rights and the future of Pakistan.
