The current situation in Pakistan reflects this, with people being treated poorly. She held Qazi Faez Isa, Raja Sikander Sultan, and Aamir Farooq responsible for the situation, accusing Qazi Faez Isa of not following the law and making decisions against Imran out of personal bias. She mentioned that they filed a petition against Qazi Faez Isa, but it hasn’t been heard.
Aleema Khan highlighted that Imran Khan has faced three assassination attempts. They have been informed from within that a decision has been made to eliminate Imran Khan. Imran Khan responded by saying that life and death are in Allah’s hands, but if anything happens to him, Asim Munir will be behind it.
She also pointed out that the jail staff is being frequently changed. Even the person who checked Imran’s food was replaced, to create the impression that Imran Khan was sending messages through him. Imran is not afraid, but we (the Family) are monitoring these developments. When we visited Imran in jail yesterday, we had been waiting for four hours. Today, lawyers were not allowed to enter except for Mishaal Yousafzai and Ali Zafar, while the rest waited outside.
She explained that legally, six people are allowed to meet Imran Khan in jail, but sometimes only two or three are permitted, based on Colonel Sahib’s orders. Imran Khan believes that since his cases are being dismissed in the courts outside, there is a plan to put him in military custody and conduct a military trial based on the ongoing cases inside the jail.
