Workers and Supporters burst out, why PTI leadership called off the jalsa? supporters and workers criticizing leadership over tarnol jalsa cancellation.
On social media, PTI supporters have strongly criticized the current leadership for cancelling the rally in Tarnol today. They have labelled the current leadership as a compromised leadership and have even demanded resignations.
Supporters argue that people travel long distances and endure hardships to attend the rally, only to receive news of its cancellation at the last minute. They spend their money and face numerous difficulties participating wholeheartedly, but then the rally gets cancelled.
They also criticized Azam Swati, questioning how he was allowed to enter the jail at 7:30 in the morning, while Imran Khan’s lawyers and their families were made to wait for hours. The biggest question is, who benefited and who lost due to the delay? The decision not to hold the rally today was a loss for PTI and a gain for General Asim Munir, as time was given to him.
In a video, Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, also mentioned that the public should ask why the leadership consulted Imran in jail before deciding on protests in his name. She pointed out that Imran would never ask for protests on his behalf and urged supporters not to be misled.
Ayesha Ali Bhutta said, Whoever claims to be the leader of the party at this time, please, God, do not call the workers from their cities until your internal sources give you full assurance and permission for the rallies. Calling workers to a meeting (jalsa) in the face of severe inflation, police brutality, and adverse conditions is a joke to them.
Many workers and supporters said that if a rally is planned in the future, the public should be informed that it will definitely take place.
Should the public wait for a call from the leadership in the future, or should they take action on their own?
